The Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce was established in 2003. It is a policy implementation and foreign trade promotion agency directly under the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It is committed to comprehensively implementing relevant national policies, providing public services related to foreign trade development, and building various trade promotion. The platform promotes exchanges and cooperation between enterprises in China and countries around the world, enhances the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, and promotes comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of China's foreign trade.
The main business includes organizing multi-bilateral major economic and trade exchange activities, hosting domestic and foreign exhibitions and forums sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, undertaking overseas business complaints consulting services for Chinese enterprises, undertaking business personnel training and free trade agreement promotion activities, and undertaking China's provincial and US Washington. The state and the New York State two trade and investment cooperation joint working group Chinese Secretariat work, organize import promotion and independent brand promotion activities. In order to build an effective international economic and trade exchange and cooperation platform, the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce has established close cooperative relations with 57 trade promotion agencies in 44 countries (regions) outside the country.
