The Summer of 2016 has proven to be an eventful transfer window, with The Premier League continuing to dominate, being responsible for eight of the top ten most expensive transfers in this summer's window. The league also invested in €1.2b in foreign players this summer, 89% of the total spend, which is the highest amount ever in a single transfer window. The rest of the top ten was made up by Serie A, making up €130m of transfers.

Author of the Soccerex Transfer Review, Esteve Calzada, will be speaking at the Soccerex Global Convention in a session titled "Money Makes The Ball Go Round", where he will be discussing the wealth and financial matters of the game.
