SANTA MARGHERITA STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP WITH FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO

Italian roots and global prestige: after teaming up to celebrate the Nerazzurri's 19th Serie A title, Santa Margherita and Inter have further strengthened their collaboration

Having provided sparkle to the celebrations of the 2020/21 Serie A title and launched a limited edition magnum Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut “52” dedicated to Inter’s Scudetto victory, Santa Margherita is strengthening its collaboration with the team, becoming the Official Wine Partner of the Italian champions.

Inter is joining a brand that shares its Italian roots and global prestige. Santa Margherita is a global icon of Italian excellence, and its wines are the toast in as many as 96 countries.

“We are delighted to officially welcome Santa Margherita into the Inter family as Official Wine Partner,” Luca Danovaro, Inter Chief Marketing Officer, explained. “The agreement comes after initial collaboration following our 19th Serie A title. This partnership brings together two global brands that are symbols of excellence in their respective sectors.”

In the words of Santa Margherita CEO Beniamino Garofalo at the launch of this new partnership: “We are proud to take the field this season alongside the Italian champions. Inter is a cornerstone of world football, just as Santa Margherita is one of the ambassadors of Italian taste and lifestyle. And if our wines are able to win over entire generations of wine-lovers in Europe, Asia and overseas, the Nerazzurri shirt similarly generates passion and warms hearts everywhere.”

The 2021/22 season will therefore celebrate the shared mission, values and objectives of two great brands recognised across the world.
