Onefootball nets La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 highlights in DAZN deal
German soccer platform Onefootball has signed a deal with over-the-top (OTT) streaming provider DAZN to carry highlights from the top-flight leagues in Spain, Italy and France.

The agreement, which began on 1st February, sees Onefootball obtain rights to content from La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1, and also covers highlights from several national cup tournaments, including Spain's Copa del Rey, the Coppa Italia, the Coupe de France, and English soccer’s Carabao Cup.

The deal adds to Onefootball’s burgeoning soccer portfolio, which includes a pay-per-view (PPV) offer featuring live matches from the 2.Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, German soccer’s respective second-tier and domestic cup competitions. Those rights were acquired in a separate sublicense agreement with German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland.

A similar deal was struck in November with German pay-TV broadcaster Sportdigital Fussball for access to live matches from Dutch soccer’s Eredivisie.
