English top-flight women’s soccer club Manchester City have extended their partnership with Pioneer Group, an audio visual provider offering digital stadium solutions.

The company has partnered with the Women’s Super League outfit since October 2016 and will continue to deliver the audio and visual perimeter LED support elements at their Academy Stadium home.

The new deal will also see Pioneer Group present the team’s end of season awards in May and the Moment of the Match after every game across Manchester City’s social media platforms.

Gavin Makel, head of women’s football at Manchester City, commented: “We are delighted that Pioneer Group will remain an official partner of the women’s team. Since 2016, we have worked together to develop the match day experience for our supporters and to deliver memorable events.

“Our end of season awards are another fantastic opportunity for us to collaborate on an exciting experience for our supporters to enjoy.”

Chris Appleyard, group director of Pioneer Group, added: “As a Manchester-based company we are incredibly proud of the work Manchester City has done to promote the women’s game, both regionally and nationally.

“Everyone at Pioneer Group is excited to continue our partnership with Manchester City and to be the headline sponsor of their end of season awards. We look forward to working together and to further enhancing the match day experience at the Academy Stadium.”

Pioneer Group has partnerships with a number of UK soccer clubs, including Leicester City, Derby County, Swansea City and Celtic, providing in-store digital signage, multi-display LED installation and stadium Wi-Fi. It has also provided its services to brands outside the sporting industry such as Samsung, Emirates and Harrods.

With their season coming to a close, Manchester City face West Ham in the FA Women’s Cup on 4th May, having last won the trophy in 2017.
