Eintracht Frankfurt extend Indeed shirt deal through 2023
German top-flight soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt have extended their shirt sponsorship deal with jobs site Indeed.

The Bundesliga club’s new three-year deal, which expires at the end of the 2022/23 season, extends the partnership to six years. The new contractual period will commence on 1st July 2020.

The previous deal, signed in 2017, was worth a reported €6.7 million (US$7.4 million) per season, according to SportBusiness.

Indeed’s deal covers not only the first team, but also all of the youth teams in Frankfurt’s academy, as well as other sports departments of the club.

Axel Hellmann, Frankfurt’s Executive Board Member responsible for sales and marketing, said: “The partnership fits in with our aspiration to be a leader in the field of digitisation. We have realised many successful campaigns together in the past two years. Indeed has made a significant contribution to Eintracht’s overall positive development.”

Paul D’Arcy, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Indeed, added: “9.9 million people in Germany know Indeed through sponsorship. Both the number of job seekers and businesses that advertise on Indeed jobs has increased.”

Along with the partnership extension, Hellman also announced that the club is setting up their US office at Indeed’s headquarters in New York. The move continues the club’s overseas operational expansion after opening a Beijing outpost earlier this year.
