Arsenal land Zoom cloud deal
The US-based firm, which also has offices throughout Europe and Asia Pacific, will provide the Premier League club with its cloud platforms for video, voice, content sharing and chat across all devices and workspaces.
In return, Zoom will benefit from branding at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and direct communications with the club’s business community.
“We are excited to partner with Arsenal to bring the Zoom brand to its passionate global fanbase,” said Janine Pelosi, head of marketing and online business for Zoom. “This partnership is a natural fit. Both organisations are focused on excellence, innovation, and providing the best experiences.”
The deal is the fourth to be announced by Arsenal this year, building on partnerships with gambling technology developer BetConstruct, tech giant Intel and digital collectibles firm Fantastec.
“At Arsenal we are focused on communicating and engaging with our huge global fanbase,” added Arsenal’s commercial director, Peter Silverstone. “Zoom is also focused on connecting global business users via their cloud communication systems. We look forward to working with Zoom, to help build their global awareness.”
Arsenal remain fourth in the Premier League after their 5-1 win at home to Bournemouth on Wednesday. They travel to play North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their next game on Saturday.
