USWNT agrees Opendorse social media partnership
American national team players gain access to marketing platform expertise.

The US Women’s National Team Players Association (USWNTPA) has signed a deal with athlete marketing platform Opendorse.

As part of the partnership, players from the US women’s national team will be given “a solution to build their brands and collaborate with partners on social media.”

The agreement also sees Opendorse become the official social media activation partner of the USWNTPA.

Players – both active and retired – will be able to approve and share content on their various social media platforms – principally Twitter, Facebook and Instagram – while also giving brand partners, sponsors and licensees the opportunity to benefit. They will be able to promote approved posts through their respective social media channels.

The arrangement follows a similar expanded partnership between Opendorse and golf’s PGA Tour, which was announced in September.

More than 4,000 professional athletes use Opendorse to share content on social media, with a cumulative following of more than one billion.
