President de Luisa to speak at Soccerex USA, as part of partnership with Mexican Football Federation
Soccerex and the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) have confirmed a new institutional partnership that will see President Yon de Luisa speaking at Soccerex USA, the international soccer business event taking place on 15-16 November at Marlins Park, Miami.

President de Luisa will be part of a significant Mexican football delegation at Soccerex USA, where over 1400 senior industry figures are expected to gather, including FMF General Secretary, Gilberto Hernandez Oseguera and former players such as Luis Hernandez and Felix Fernandez. President de Luisa will adding his considerable insights into what is undoubtedly one of headline panels of the Soccerex event, speaking alongside MLS Commissioner Don Garber about the special relationship Mexico and the US enjoy in football terms with President da Luisa set to discuss the importance of the US market to the Mexican national team and the prospect of co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Yon de Luisa became FMF President shortly after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He boasts a hugely impressive background in media and sports having served as Vice President of Sports for Grupo Televisa and in senior positions at of Club America, Club Necaxa and Estadio Azteca. Over the last ten years, de Luisa also participated in FIFA and CONCACAF events as a General Coordinator, and as the Director of the Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA U17 World Cup Mexico™ in 2011. Immediately prior to taking on the role of Federation President, he was the Mexican bid Director for the successful United 2026 bid team.
