Fiorentina sign up with Var ahead of digital transformation
IT company’s deal with Serie A side to run until 2022.

Italian soccer club Fiorentina have signed a deal with Var Group, with the technology company becoming the official digital partner of the Serie A outfit.

As part of the four-year deal, which will run through 2022, the two parties will form a strategic partnership, with Fiorentina in the process of carrying out an overhaul of their website and digital marketing field.

In return, the IT firm’s branding will appear on the training wear of both players and staff members, as well as on the players’ pre-match warm-up kits.

In addition, Var’s logo and branding will be visible throughout the team’s Stadio Artemio Franchi home, as well as on the ground’s pitchside LED advertising boards and across the club’s social and digital media channels.

Francesca Moriani, Chief Executive of Var Group, said: “We are proud of this agreement with Fiorentina, an important team with a great history.

“We are bound by the common desire to grow in the national scene and to spread the traits that make us unrepeatable: we love the challenges related to innovation and we are happy to live them with the purple jersey “
