FIFA Secretary General to address Soccerex China
Ms Samoura will be speaking just months before the 2018 FIFA WorldCupTM kicks off, in a country which has embraced the global football fever, with the Chinese Government presenting ambitious plans to make the game accessible to millions of school children in the coming years.
Ms Samoura joined FIFA in June 2016 as the first-ever female Secretary General of world football’s governing body, following a distinguished career with the United Nations where through her leadership and vision she helped empower women and youth, changed lives and protected the environment.

”The Soccerex Global Convention is definitely the number one event that pulls all the industry of football together, and for my first visit to Manchester and my first speech in England, it's been a really fantastic journey.”
Commenting on Ms Samoura’s participation at Soccerex China, Soccerex COO, Rita Revie said:
“I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be welcoming Fatma back to Soccerex and to our inaugural China event. We are immensely grateful for her continued support at such a busy time for FIFA.”
