AS Roma speed into Zig Zag deal
Top-tier Italian soccer side AS Roma have announced a partnership with Zig Zag.

Under the terms of the deal, the transport-sharing company will serve as the Serie A outfit’s ‘scooter sharing partner’.

Fans who use the service get their first 30 minutes on a Zig Zag scooter free of charge, and will enjoy discounted prices to and from Roma’s Stadio Olimpico home ground on matchdays throughout 2018. The company will set up dedicated parking zones in the areas next to the stadium.

Zig Zag allows users to hire a three-wheeled scooter which can be located and parked using an app or the firm’s website.

Roma says the partnership aims to ‘make matchday journeys more flexible and sustainable for supporters’.

The club recently agreed deals with transport-sharing services German car rental Car2go, which serves as the official mobility sharing partner of the team, and transit app Moovit, which allows users to programme travel itineraries by displaying transport links in real time relative to location.

Roma are currently fourth in Serie A after winning 18 of their 32 games so far this season. They drew 0-0 away against Lazio on 15th April, and will host Genoa on Wednesday.
