VfL Wolfsburg extend and expand with Maurice Lacroix
The Swiss manufacturer will continue to be Die Wölfe’s official watch partner for a further Bundesliga season, a role it has assumed since 2013.
Under the terms of the enhanced deal, Maurice Lacroix’s logo will not only be displayed on pitchside LED advertising hoardings at Wolfsburg’s Volkswagen Arena but also on the fourth official’s electronic display board for substitutions and injury-time.
"We are delighted to be going into the new season with our long-term and highly esteemed partner Maurice Lacroix and that we have expanded our extremely good cooperation further still,” said Steffen Grupp, Wolfsburg’s director of sponsoring and events. “The electronic substitution and extra-time display board, which will be commercialised from the coming season, is basically predestined for a watch manufacturer such as Maurice Lacroix."
