Manchester City secure Carlsberg partnership
English soccer club Manchester City have signed a one-year deal with St. Killian Importing, the exclusive Carlsberg beer importer in the United States.

The deal will see the Danish brewing company become the club’s regional beer partner, as City prepare to team up with Carlsberg for their 2017 pre-season tour of the US.

The brewery will work with the Premier League side to provide innovative and engaging ways to connect with soccer fans in the US.

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with an exciting brand like Carlsberg who share Manchester City’s passion for creativity and innovation,” said Damian Willoughby, senior vice president of partnerships for City Football Group, the company that owns Manchester City.

“As we look to embark on our pre-season tour in the United States, we have a unique opportunity to connect with our local fans and create unforgettable memories.”

Manchester City finished third in the 2016/17 Premier League, English soccer’s top flight, and rounded off their season with a 5-0 win away to Watford on Sunday.
