DFL appoints Bernd Schusky
Bernd Schusky has been named as the new head of brand communications at the German Football League (DFL), the operating business of German club soccer’s top two tiers, the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga.

The 38-year-old German will report directly to Christian Pfennig, director of corporate and brand communications. Schusky joins the DFL from soccer’s global governing body, Fifa, where he was the senior manager of communications.

Prior to joining Fifa, Schusky’s founded social media startup Keebits. Between 2005 and 2013, he was client director at international design and brand consultancy company MetaDesign.
