Bayern Munich bet on Tipico
The Malta-headquartered firm will continue to be the Bundesliga champions’ official gambling partner until the end of the 2020/21, a role that Tipico assumed in 2015. It will continue to have a strong brand presence at Bayern’s home stadium, the Allianz Arena.
Although the financial terms of the renewal were not officially released, German specialist outlet Sponsors.de reports that the Bavarian club will be receiving €5 million (US$5.6 million) per season from Tipico.
Bayern Munich are the most successful club in German soccer having won a record 27 top-flight titles. Carlo Ancelotti’s side won this season’s Bundesliga by 15 points from second place RB Leipzig, scoring 89 goals and conceding just 22 to take a fifth championship in a row.
