Arsenal and Vitality deal lives on

Arsenal and Vitality deal lives on
Soccer side Arsenal FC have renewed their deal with health insurance company Vitality, which will now be the Premier League outfit’s official health and wellness partner until 2020.

The company, which first partnered with the north London club in 2014, has also extended its partnership with the Arsenal Women’s team.

The Gunners are to continue to feature Vitality’s branding at the Emirates Stadium and Meadow Park, as well across their digital and social media platforms.

As part of the new deal, Vitality has access to first team players from both the men’s and women’s squads, as well as club legends, for its promotional and marketing activities. It will also have use of Arsenal’s brand and player imagery, and will collaborate in the running of coaching clinics with the team.

Additionally, Gunners fans and Vitality members will be offered benefits including access to official merchandise, match tickets, and high-end hospitality services at the Emirates.

Vitality also partners AFC Bournemouth, Liverpool FC and Liverpool Ladies FC, as well as putting its name to AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.

“We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Vitality for a further three years and excited about the additional rights they now have with our Women’s team,” said Vinai Venkatesham, chief commercial officer at Arsenal. "Their innovative approach of rewarding those who adopt a healthier lifestyle has been extremely popular with our fans. We look forward to developing even more creative campaigns to strengthen an already successful partnership."

Nick Read, commercial director at Vitality, added: “We believe in the power of sport to help inspire people to live a healthy life, which is why we partner with leading sports figures, teams and events to help us spread the Vitality message.

"We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Arsenal, and to extend it to include the women’s team as part of our key focus to support and raise awareness of women in sport. Our collaboration with some of the top teams in the country, including Arsenal, helps in our goal to change the game when it comes to people’s health.”

Arsenal are 12th in England’s top flight, after a disappointing start to the 2017/18 season which included a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool. They look to be back on track after holding last season’s league champions Chelsea to a 0-0 stalemate away, and will look to claim a third league win when they face West Bromwich Albion at home on Monday night.
