Yeo’s renews S.League sponsorship
Food and beverage company Yeo’s has extended its co-title sponsorship of the S.League, Singapore’s top soccer division.

The new one-year deal covers the remainder of the 2016 S.League season, although league chief executive Lim Chin said in a statement that he is hopeful of extending the agreement further.

Yeo’s, which title sponsors the league alongside life insurance company Great Eastern Life, will also remain involved in the S.League’s youth development programmes under the renewed partnership.

“We are in a marriage through thick and thin,” said May Ngiam, first vice president of YHS (Singapore) Pte Ltd. “Whether it’s a time where there are negative comments about it or now, when people are paying attention to the league

“But today, we are proud to see fans are coming back to support the S.League and we must continue with a local league. We will build that relationship stronger and stronger.”

The current S.League season began last month. Brunei DPMM FC are the reigning champions.
