New sponsor for Vietnamese Soccer
Z.com, part of the Japanese GMO Internet Group, has signed a deal with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to sponsor the national soccer team.

In addition to being the official shirt sponsor, Z.com will provide training equipment to the national team.

As part of the deal, Z.com will publicise their brand on advertising hoardings at all of Vietnam’s home games and put its logo on the team’s practice kits.

Along with the kit sponsorship of the national team, Z.com is also a sponsor of the national under-23 team and the women's national soccer team. Z.com has also announced a personal sponsorship with Vietnamese international striker Nguyen Cong Phuong, to make him brand representative of the Japanese company.

The Vietnamese soccer team are currently ranked 146th in the World, 24th in Asia and 3rd in Southeast Asia by Fifa.
