MP & Silva picks up international Bundesliga rights
Leading international sports media agency MP & Silva has acquired the media rights to Germany's Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga soccer leagues.

The media company, which currently holds the rights to the Bundesliga in Japan, will now sell additional rights in 34 countries for the 2017/2018 season through to the 2020/2021 season. 
MP & Silva will be the exclusive distributor of Bundesliga rights across all platforms, including cable, satellite, terrestrial, Web TV, IPTV and mobile. The deal covers all league matches, the Supercup and the relegation matches as well as league highlights from every round. 

"The Bundesliga is amongst the three strongest football leagues in the world in terms of revenues and highest quality of top-level sports,” said Roberto Dalmiglio, MP & Silva’s chief commercial officer. “We are honoured to have the full trust of the Bundesliga to distribute in such a large number of European countries and we look forward to strengthening the Bundesliga’s coverage.”
London-headquartered MP & Silva’s rights portfolio includes the Fifa World Cup, various European soccer leagues - including England’s Premier League - Grand Slam tennis tournaments, Formula One, handball, baseball, volleyball, boxing, and the Asian Games.
