Indian Super League in Sportradar tie-up
The deal will see Sportradar’s Integrity Services platform monitor the international ISL betting markets for suspicious patterns, with Sportradar’s team also set to assist in potential investigation work.
The partnership, which will cover the third season of the Indian Super League, comes as soccer throughout India steps up its efforts to professionalise.
“It is wonderful to see a league so proactive and committed to integrity,” said Sportradar managing director of integrity Andreas Krannich.
“This cooperation is a special one, allowing us to work with such a vibrant league that is pivotal to growing the sport in the subcontinent.”
The ISL kicks off on 1st October, when Kerala Blasters travel to North East United FC. The league features a number of high-profile players with previous stints at major clubs and leagues in Europe, including Florent Malouda, Diego Forlan, Didier Zokora and Helder Postiga.
