Express FC nets DSTV deal
Ugandan Super League soccer side Express FC have signed a one-year deal with African pay-TV channel Digital Satellite Television (DStv).

The South African-headquartered broadcaster will be the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor. Furthermore, its branding will be visible on training kits and have a strong presence around the Red Eagles home-ground, the Muteesa II Stadium.

The deal will run for a year subject to renewal, and it is believed that DStv will be spending Shs300 million (US$86,000).

Express FC currently lie in seventh position in Uganda’s top-tier soccer league, having won three of their ten games, and languish 11 points behind table-topping KCCA FC.
