Dr Dre’s Beats Electronics joins Chelsea portfolio
Apple-owned audio products manufacturer Beats Electronics has been announced as Chelsea Football Club’s official sound partner.

Beats by Dre is a leading audio brand founded in 2006 by rapper Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine. The London team are not Beats’ only recent soccer signing, having struck a similar partnership with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Beats boasts a host of elite sportsmen and women as consumers, such as LeBron James and Serena Williams. Spain and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has previously starred in adverts for the headphone company. 

Christian Purslow, managing director of Chelsea, said: “The core objective of this innovative partnership will be to put the Beats “b” at the heart of Chelsea Football Club – enabling our global fanbase to gain insight into Chelsea players as they prepare to represent the club on the biggest stages in world football.”

Last season’s Premier League champions Chelsea have endured a below par 2015/16 season, languishing in thirteenth position.
