Arsenal partner with Star Lager
As a result of the sponsorship, Star Lager’s Nigerian customers will be offered a range of club-related benefits, including official merchandise and match tickets. Furthermore, the collaboration will allow Arsenal’s Nigerian fans to engage with the club through digital platforms and access to the club’s annual coaching clinics in the west African nation.
Star, owned by Nigerian Breweries, is the best-selling beer in the country.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Star Lager Beer, one of Nigeria’s most iconic brands,” said Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal’s chief commercial officer. “Arsenal has a huge fanbase in Nigeria and this partnership really underlines our commitment to these loyal supporters.
“We look forward to developing a number of exciting initiatives together for both Arsenal and football fans across Nigeria.”
Star recently signed similar regional deals with English side Manchester City and Serie A champions Juventus.
