FC St. Pauli to wear Under Armour
FC St. Pauli, a side from Germany's 2. Bundesliga, have agreed a kit supply deal with US sportswear brand Under Armour, commencing from the beginning of the 2016/17 season.

For the forthcoming 2015/16 season St. Pauli's kits will continue to be supplied by Danish manufacturer Hummel. That deal expires in June next year, and the club have moved swiftly to confirm the deal with Under Armour.

For the US brand, this is a first venture into the lucrative German market since 2011, when their deal with Hannover 96 expired. Despite playing in the second tier, the Hamburg-based St. Pauli have a significant cult following in the country due to the strong left-wing politics and frequent anti-fascist protests of their 'Ultras'.

Under Armour are rumoured to be targeting expansion in Germany by signing further deals with top-tier Bundesliga clubs; Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach are among the names being touted.
