CBF sign 30-year deal with Ultrafarma

14 July 2015 | Commercial & Sponsorship
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the governing body for soccer in the country, has signed a 30-year sponsorship deal with Ultrafarma, a pharmaceutical e-commerce provider.

The deal begins with immediate effect and runs all the way until the 2044-45 season, although it will be revised every five years.

Over the 30-year period, Ultrafarma will have their branding featured heavily on the CBF's materials, and will be able to engage in customer-facing activations. Ultrafarma's financial commitment was not announced.

Ultrafarma's president and founder, Sidney Oliveira, said:“The company is associating its image with this symbol of achievement, victory and leadership that is the Brazil national team.”

CBF president Marco Polo Del Nero added: “The national team is the most successful in sports history. One year after the most difficult time for the team, we have this example of a reliable partner in Ultrafarma – an acknowledgment of our administration.”
