Beechwood Homes expands Newcastle Jets support
The real estate developer will back the side for the entirety of their 2015/16 Westfield W-League campaign, with Newcastle Jets Women set to face Perth Glory in their opening game on Saturday.
Financial terms of Beechwood’s investment have not been disclosed.
Beechwood originally signed with the Jets in June, agreeing a deal that will see its logo printed on the front of the team’s playing shirts for at least the duration of the 2015/16 A-League season.
News of the agreement comes with the Jets set to be sold to an international group of investors. The cash-strapped club is currently being operated by Football Federation Australia (FFA), whose deal to sell the team has had to be pushed back for undisclosed reasons.
