Jake is a former professional footballer whose 10 year playing career saw him represent clubs in the English Football League and Football Conference as well as the Charleston Battery in the USL. As his playing career started to come to and end, Jake completed at MBA at Warwick Business School, before going on to work for Octagon once his career had ended, acting as a strategic consultant for the leading sports marketing agency. In June 2013 Jake returned to the US as Executive Vice President at USL where he was responsible for the design and execution of the League's long term strategic growth plan - 'Destination 2020'. In 2015 He was promoted to his current role as President of USL where he oversees the day to day operations and long term growth initiatives of the USL Division II & Division III professional leagues, in addition to the amateur Premier Development League and youth Super Y League.
