Niki Budalic is the General Manager of Soccer Operations for Orlando City SC.

In his role, he oversees overall soccer operations, including player acquisitions and team management, along with technical staff for Orlando City in Major League Soccer (MLS) and Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Budalic first joined Orlando City in January 2016 as Assistant General Manager and was promoted to his current role in December 2016. Prior to joining the Club, Budalic served as Director of Soccer Operations for Kitchener-Waterloo United in the Premier Development League and led the club to the 2015 national championship. Budalic was also the Director of Football for Beswicks Sports North America.

A former professional player for various clubs in North America and Europe, such as FK Haugesund in Norway, Montreal Impact and Toronto Lynx in Canada, Budalic’s vast soccer background extends off the pitch, working as a soccer professional in scouting, recruitment, player representation, consulting and coaching for both men’s and women’s soccer.

Budalic holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
