The Barça Experience in Haikou is the first football exhibition and experience centre for FC Barcelona outside of Spain, a spectacular complex hosted at the Mission Hills Haikou resort. It includes an interactive 4,000 m2 museum and a large megastore, with 10 zones spread across two floors. FC Barcelona and Mission Hills Group have been partners in a joint venture project since 2017 in Haikou, where there is also a Barça Academy Pro youth training facility with six pitches.
Heritage, Camp Nou Experience and a Messi corner
Original seats have been transferred from the Camp Nou including The Manager’s seat, spectator seats and Lionel Messi’s locker room bench. Fans can listen to the sounds of the Camp Nou on matchdays and be transported to the Camp Nou via a 360° Virtual Reality experience, allowing you to view an El Clásico match from different viewpoints of the stadium.
Fans can also view and explore the history of FC Barcelona with static and visual artefacts such as the trophies that have been won throughout the Catalan Club’s rich 120 year history – including the UEFA Champions League, La Liga and the Copa Del Rey. Some of the most famous jerseys from Barça’s rich history are displayed, alongside boots and other memorabilia from key moments in time.
There’s also a corner dedicated to FC Barcelona’s all-time record goalscorer, Lionel Messi, where fans can view a video collection of all of his goals, view signed shirts and replicas of the Ballon D’or awards that have been won by Barça’s current number 10.
Més que un club, Training Zone and Barça Values
FC Barcelona prides itself on being Més que un club (or ‘more than a club’) and fans can learn why. From the Club’s unique style of play, La Masia and a member-based ownership model, to a social commitment through the Barça Foundation and a Club that invests in a multitude of sports.
In the Training Zone, you can take shots against Marc-André ter Stegen and practice your dribbling. Alternatively, you can play table football or enjoy an interactive video wall that showcases the five core Barça values of Humility, Effort, Ambition, Respect and Teamwork.
Barça Cinema and the Megastore
An exclusive film in the Cinema room documents the foundation of FC Barcelona in 1899 to the present day, covering the unforgettables moments of time, from the team of the ‘Cinc Copes’ captained by Ladislau Kubala, to the Club’s first European Cup in 1992 and the team who won 14 out of a possible 19 honours between 2008 & 2012 under Pep Guardiola.
Fans can also visit the 900 m2 megastore to buy official Barça merchandise.
