A Unique Sports Data Partnership.
In September last year, LaLiga signed a new partnership with the Perform Group to create the LaLiga Official Data Centre, a innovative new approach to ensure that LaLiga maximizes the use of official match data across multiple sectors and channels. The Data Centre will prevent match manipulation and betting fraud through enhanced monitoring and intelligence. It will facilitate innovation across broadcast graphics and production workflows, develop digital data visualisations, fantasy and gaming concepts, as well as supporting a commitment to data editorial and performance data analytics.
In this presentation, senior project members from both LaLiga and Perform will explain how the project came about, the impact they see it having on LaLiga’s data use and its effect on LaLiga’s overall development strategy.
