Michael has over thirty five years of Sports marketing experience, both from a Sponsorship and Digital Marketing perspective. He was responsible for directing and negotiating the Multi-award winning Carling Premiership sponsorship, prior to heading up digital marketing agency, Fast Web Media, winning numerous awards from BIMA, The Digitals, European Search Awards, New Media Age, Revolution and UK Search Awards for clients including The Premier League, Barclaycard & Carling, and a personal award for North West Entrepreneur of the Year 2014. Having sold Fast Web Media, he launched DataPOWA in 2017, developing the first real time data driven AI Sponsorship valuation engine – POWA index, which measures over 3000 teams, leagues and events globally; and in November 2020 will be launching AthletePOWA, providing commercial measurements and influence ranking for athletes and players of all major sports.
