Performance Director
Dawn Scott joined Inter Miami CF as Performance Director in November 2021 ahead of the club’s third Major League Soccer Season. Scott oversees the Performance Department for the Inter Miami First Team, Inter Miami II and the Inter Miami Academy. Scott also serves as a High-Performance Consultant and Technical Advisor with FIFA. Formerly, Scott did the same with UEFA and was the Physical Performance Manager for the England Senior Women. Scott worked with the U. S. Women’s National Team for 10 years and has supported elite female football players for the past 20 years across eight major tournaments. Dawn was part of the support team for the USWNT during their World Cup winning campaigns in 2015 and 2019, as well as their Olympic gold medal in 2012. Scott is in the final stages of completing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Ric Lovell at Western Sydney University. Scott’s research focuses on validating speed thresholds specific for female players, and subsequent analysis of the training dose response for absolute compared to individualized speed thresholds. She is also completing her final module of a Masters in Sports Directorship with Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. Scott is a winner of the Women in Soccer Trailblazer Award (201) and the NSCAA President Recognition Award (2017).
