IMG's Senior Vice President, Global Football Business Development and Havas Sports &Entertainment's President and CEO confirmed as speakers

Jefferson Slack, the new Senior Vice President of Global Football Business Development at IMG, and Lucien Boyer, President and CEO of Havas Sports &Entertainment, will participate in an exclusive sports marketing workshop.

This industry focused session takes place at Soccerex 09 and offers all sports industry executives the chance to learn from two of the most renowned thought-leaders in sports marketing. IMG and Havas Sports &Entertainment have been trusted by major rights holders and sponsors such as the English FA Premier Football League, Major League Baseball, Emirates, Unilever and Air Asia to help leverage their presence in the global sports market.

Both speakers have a wealth of industry knowledge and will provide Soccerex delegates with an invaluable insight into the future trends of sports marketing.

Jefferson Slack's recent appointment at IMG has been preceded by a hugely successful career in the sports industry, having worked for Wasserman Media Group and Inter Milan FC. His experiences working in the agency and rights holder sectors will help provide the session with a complete overview of the sports market place. Lucien Boyer is widely regarded as one of the forefathers of the sports marketing industry with over 20 years of experience, working for companies such as Havas Sports &Entertainment, Saatchi &Saatchi and Lamborghini Formula 1.

This session is part of the Soccerex 09 conference programme, featuring experts from football and business, tackling the 'Global Issues' and 'Focused Topics' currently affecting the football industry. The Soccerex 09 convention (28 November - 2 December) takes place in Johannesburg (South Africa) just two days prior to the final draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
