LOC to give 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Update at Soccerex

Soccerex are delighted to announce that the Brazil 2014 Local Organising Committee (LOC) will be giving an official update on the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ as part of the conference agenda for this year’s Soccerex Global Convention, 26-30 November, Rio de Janeiro.
Speaking on the host nation’s progress and future plans will be one of the LOC’s most senior representatives, Ricardo Trade, Operations Director, who will play a significant role in shaping the development of the 2014 World Cup™.
Commenting on the event Ricardo said that “We want to show the world how we are fulfilling the commitment to host the biggest football event on the planet. Recently the fixtures for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil were announced and will be held in five regions of the country. To successfully deliver an event of this scale it is essential to exchange knowledge and international experiences.”
The session will look at how preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ are taking form, giving a comprehensive update on Brazil’s position at this stage and what is left to do.

The LOC update is part of a larger conference programme which also includes a Host City workshop and sessions on Stadia, Sponsorship, Sustainability, Social Media, Club Commercial Success, plus exclusive talks with some of the footballs biggest stars past and present.
Over 4000 delegates will attend the Global Convention this year, including representatives from clubs, brands, sponsors, host cities, leagues and federations, government bodies, leading infrastructure suppliers, agencies, international media and many more.
