European Forum 2011 hailed as huge success

Initial feedback from this year’s Soccerex European Forum, which was held in Manchester in March, has now been received, showing the event to have been a huge success. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey.
Attendance was up 15% on last year’s European Forum, with total numbers topping 1,400 delegates, among them the likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Carlos Alberto Torres, Ossie Ardiles, Kolo Toure, Peter Shilton, Bryan Robson, Patrick Vieira, Denis Law, Gareth Southgate, Oliver Bierhoff, Graham Taylor, Paul Merson, Brad Friedel, Geoff Thomas, Alan Curbishley. They were joined by representatives from all English Premiership teams, other leading European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Celtic, Ajax and Fiorentina, as well as leading brands such as HSBC, Adidas, Warner Bros, Nike, Facebook, Google, Intersport, Konami, Standard Chartered, IMG, Deloitte, Lockton, Puma and VISA.
98% of attendees were happy with the event as a whole, with over 90% saying they would come to a Soccerex event again. 3 in 4 felt the event was a valuable networking platform with 87% saying that their personal business objectives had been partially or completely met. Almost 90% of attendees said they would be likely to recommend the event to an industry colleague.
