QBE extension is glorious news for Perth

Australian A-League franchise Perth Glory has signed a three-year extension to its long-running partnership with main sponsor QBE.
The insurance firm has served as Perth’s principal sponsor since 1997 and will now continue in this role until 2015. The deal comes as the club prepares to kick-off its 2012-13 A-League campaign next month.
“Perth Glory greatly values our association with QBE and its incredibly loyal support of our football club which has significantly contributed to the success of Perth Glory and the future of football in the community and will continue to do so,” said Perth Glory chief executive Paul Kelly.
Colin Fagen, CEO of QBE Australia and New Zealand, added: “QBE’s sponsorship will help further engage the local community and foster the growth of football as a spectator sport in the WA (Western Australia) region. We are proud QBE will remain associated with a highly regarded team and one of Australia’s fastest growing sports. We are looking forward to Perth Glory’s continued success in the coming season.”
