Borussia Dortmund hire new head of marketing

German Bundesliga soccer side Borussia Dortmund have promoted Dennis Thom to the role of head of marketing.
Thom will replace Markus Rejek, the newly appointed managing director of TSV 1860 Munich, who left the club in September 2013 after 14 years of service.
A business graduate who has worked at the club since 2008, Thom previously worked in the marketing departments at the Bundesliga and international sports rights agency Sportfive.
