On 7th January 2008 over 200 senior decision makers, Clubs, Federation Officials and Sponsors from all over the world gathered at the exemplary Jumeirah Emirates Towers to meet with key industry executives and investors from the Middle East, for an exclusive conference & networking event to share knowledge and do business.

The key industry players from Clubs & Federations were accompanied by a similar number of international companies whose services are at the forefront of football's commercial and professional development. It was a unique opportunity to meet Rights Holders face-to-face in a relaxed and EXCLUSIVE environment, attending companies were hand chosen by the Soccerex team in London to ensure the events exclusivity.

The Soccerex Dubai Forum was held in association with the organisers of The Mohammed bin Rashid International Football Championship, Dubai Cup, one of the world's richest invitational tournaments. Four internationally renowned Clubs competed for a 2.5m US Dollar prize fund and Internacional Brazil emerged the victors.
